Elizabeth and Ronald ’74, ‘78G Blankenstein Non-Traditional Student Endowed Scholarship

The purpose of the fund is to provide an annual scholarship for a deserving non-traditional student at Plymouth State University. Ron and Beth believe the term “non-traditional” should have very broad parameters. Eligible students shall have a demonstrated financial need and meet at least one of the following criteria: delayed enrollment of two or more years from high school graduation, financial independent, employed while enrolled, have dependents or are a single parent, did not receive a standard high school diploma, started college at age 20 or older. A preference shall be given to first generation college students.
