Henry E. Vittum and Ethel Tessimond Vittum Scholarship

1. The recipient must be an English major
2. The recipient must be a Sophomore with a 3.50 major average or better
3. If said average is maintained, the award may be renewed twice
4. The recipient should exhibit high standards of scholarship, citizenship and moral behavior
5. The recipient shall be chosen by a panel of three consisting of the Chairman of the English Department, the Academic Dean of the College, and a graduate of Plymouth State College (University) who was an English major
6. The committee shall have absolute discretion to award a part of all of the income to one or more recipients and any unused income at the end of the year is to be added to the principal.
