Matthew S Budrow '06 Memorial Scholarship Fund

The purpose of The Matthew S. Budrow ‘06 Memorial Endowed Scholarship is to provide a scholarship for an outstanding student at Plymouth State University who is seeking a bachelor’s degree in a major of the Health and Human Performance department, has an interest in coaching, and who demonstrates financial need. Eligible students shall be at least sophomore status, seeking a degree from the Health and Human Performance curriculum, attending full time, and are in good academic standing. Eligible students also should demonstrate financial need with appropriate documentation filed in the Office of Financial Aid. The recipient should have demonstrated involvement and/or leadership in the department or elsewhere at Plymouth State University and also possess an interest in coaching.

The scholarship application will require an essay outlining the applicants teaching/coaching “mission.” The recipient will be determined by a committee of members of the HHP department faculty and staff. Recipients of the Budrow Scholarship who continue to meet the criteria may reapply for the scholarship award annually.
