Barbara (Acquino) Andresen Nursing Scholarship

The purpose of the Barbara (Acquino) Andresen Nursing Scholarship (Scholarship) is to provide a scholarship to a returning nursing student who, like Barbara, perseveres in her/his efforts to become a nurse regardless of the challenges.

The Scholarship is given to a nursing student who in the eyes of the nursing faculty members encompasses the true meaning of what it is to be a nurse, and with a preference for a student who has demonstrated extraordinary dedication, focus, and perseverance in working toward attaining her/his dream to become a nurse regardless of the challenges. GPA is not a criterion.
