Campus Community Leader Scholarship

The 2011 Campus Community Leader Scholarship Fund is created by the 2010-2011 Student Senate of Plymouth State University. The purpose of the fund is to provide recognition, reward, and financial assistance to students who have contributed significantly to the PSU community through their campus leadership and who have maintained a strong academic record. The 2011 Campus Community Leader Scholarships are available to undergraduate or graduate students with documented financial need who have earned a minimum of 25 credits at Plymouth State University and maintained a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA. Recipients must be full time students, attending for a full year of study for which this award is given. Students may only receive this award one time; the scholarship does not renew and students may not reapply after having received this award during their time as a student at Plymouth State University. The Campus Community Leader Scholarship Selection Committee shall be comprised of a chair who is a staff member of the Student Activities Office, a representative of the Office of Financial Aid, and five other committee members from the faculty and staff who represent a variety of areas on campus.

The application process requires candidates to submit a resume that details their leadership experience and an original essay not to exceed 1,000 words describing how their leadership has contributed to the PSU community. Candidates may also submit other materials, reference letters, or background information he or she would like the committee to take into consideration.
