Pamela and John F. Marrapese “Keep NH Lakes Clear” Endowed Scholarship Fund

The purpose of the Pamela Marrapese Keep NH Lakes Clear Endowed Scholarship Fund is to provide a scholarship award for an outstanding undergraduate or graduate student at Plymouth State University who is seeking to develop an understanding of environmental science with particular interest in the science of fresh water ecology.

The eligible recipient(s) shall be a full-time, matriculated returning undergraduate student majoring environmental science and policy, environmental biology, sustainability studies, or climate studies, or a graduate student in Applied Meteorology who has taken or intends to take classes related to environmental sustainability and water equality. The award is made upon consideration of the applicants academic achievement, environmental involvement, community and/or campus activities, honors, and employment background.

Upon consultation with appointed faculty and staff in the programs listed above, or their successor programs, the Student Financial Services office shall award the scholarship according to stated criteria. Should no candidates meet the criteria or be deemed worthy, the funds shall be retained for awarding the following semester or academic year.
