Donna O’Gara P’14 Memorial Scholarship Fund

The purpose of the Donna O’Gara P’14 Memorial Scholarship Fund is to provide an annual scholarship to an undergraduate student at Plymouth State University who shall be a full-time, undergraduate student in good academic standing, a resident of the State of New Hampshire and the first person in their immediate family (mother, father, siblings) to attend college. Priority consideration will be given to students from underrepresented backgrounds, defined as students who by the backgrounds, life experiences, and viewpoints will advance the university’s goal of enhancing the educational experience through the enrollment of a diverse student body.

Diversity of backgrounds, life experiences, and viewpoint could include but is not limited to factors like socio-economic status and sexual orientation. This scholarship cannot be awarded solely based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, marital status disability, political affiliation, or age. The recipient should also demonstrate leadership and advocacy in their school or community regarding LGBTQ+, transgender, or nonbinary individuals. The PSU Director of Student Financial Services will determine the selection process.
