Harold C. and Martha Zehr Scholarship Endowment

The purpose of the Harold C. and Martha Zehr Scholarship Endowment Fund is to honor Harold C. and Martha Zehr and is to provide an annual scholarship for a deserving student at Plymouth State University who is seeking a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Eligibility criteria for this award includes: (1) good academic standing; (2) sophomore or above class standing; (3) financial need; and (4) dedication to the discipline of psychology. The recipient is selected each year by a scholarship committee comprised of psychology faculty and the Associate Vice President for Undergraduate Studies. Preference may be given to students who are the first in their family to seek a baccalaureate degree. The selection committee shall determine the most appropriate application and selection process based on the stated criteria. Should no candidates meet the scholarship criteria or be deemed worthy, the payout shall be retained for awarding the following semester or academic year.
