Plymouth State Academic Nursing Scholarship

The Plymouth State Academic Nursing Scholarship (Scholarship) is to be established by the Department of Nursing as an annual scholarship at Plymouth State University of the University System of New Hampshire.

The purpose of the Plymouth State Academic Nursing Scholarship is to provide a $500 scholarship to a first-year nursing student based on criteria noted below. The scholarship will be renewed annually if the recipient shows satisfactory academic progress, as outlined in III below.

The Scholarship is given to a first-year student and is renewable each year.

Recipient selection criteria are as follows:
- minimum overall high school GPA of 3.4
- demonstrated financial need
- chosen nursing as a major
- NH residency

Recipient renewal criteria are as follows:
- Continuance as a nursing major meeting all progression requirements
